Old School values offering friendly advice, we are always on hand to assist.
For the team at Wheldrake, it’s about more than the vehicles age or value. Some cars helped define eras, capturing the spirit of the time or the particular lifestyle. When you see them on the road, they evoke memories of the period, and, if you’re like us, brighten up your day. We spend our weekends racing classic machinery and know how a car should perform and feel. Every car that we sell is brought up to the standard that we would expect of our own personal vehicles. We want you to enjoy the ownership experience.
At Wheldrake, we only sell cars that we’d love to own ourselves. We also realise that beauty is more than skin deep. Classic cars often look the part but, due to years of neglect or poor maintenance, don’t drive the way they should. In addition to the daily ‘feel good’ factor, there are a number of benefits that come with classic car ownership.
Insurance and road tax can often be substantially cheaper when compared to equivalent modern vehicles (dependant on circumstances). Many marques also have thriving clubs of fellow enthusiasts, offering opportunities for social events and technical advice. If you want us to, we can point you in the right direction so you can take advantage of these benefits.
What else we provide?
